Teenage twin brothers have died after using their own sled to go down a bobsled track after-hours at the Canada Olympic Park in Calgary.
Jordan and Evan Caldwell,17, crashed into a large gate used to separate the luge and bobsled tracks, police said.
Six other teenage boys were injured on the same track and taken to hospital.
The twins’ families paid tribute to them in a statement
‘We were reminded today that life is but a vapor,’ the family said.
In a Facebook post Calgary police said many of the teenagers could not be immediately identified due to the nature of their injuries.
Police are investigating how the group entered Canada Olympic Park.
