Pop star, Rihanna, sealed a multi-year deal with footwear brand, Puma and clinched the Women’s Creative Director Role for the multi-national brand. In this role, RiRi, 26, will be the face of the women’s training collection commencing January and will be involved in developing existing clothing and shoe styles and also assist in creating new brand designs. With Rihanna choosing casual styles and posting photos in social media more than often, she could prove to be the key person in the company’s ambitions to increase competition with other rival sport brands like Nike and Adidas.
With a global pop star of this caliber at the helm of such an important position, the sportswear firm could achieve to gain a much wider audience. Rihanna will mainly oversee the products of the women’s training line and overall have a creative, advisory and of course promoting role. On Tuesday, the singer of multiple pop hits immediately took up her new role and responsibilities by posting a photo in Instagram in which she poses in a pair of new platform Puma Basket Kicks and generally street-style attire, typical of Rihanna.
