President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama hosted Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife, Akie Abe at White House state dinner for Japan on April 28. The United States’ First lady paid tribute to the country by wearing a gown designed by Japanese-born designer Tadashi Shoji, looking as stunning as ever.
Both President Obama and Prime Minister Abe donned traditional tuxes, while Mrs. Abe was spotted in a silky black gown with a sweetheart neckline.
Famed Writer and producer Shonda Rhimes, the brain behind popular TV series “Scandal” and Scott Brown also attended the state dinner for the prime minister.
