Los Angeles Lakers Star, Kobe Bryant made history yesterday with a pair of free throws while playing against the Minnesota Timberwolves when he recorded a milestone for becoming the 3rd on the NBA all-time scoring list and surpassing Micheal Jordan’s previous points, who had 32,292 points over 15 seasons. At the start of the game, Bryant, 36, only needed nine points to beat Jordan, which he did by making both his free throws within 5 minutes into halftime.
Bryant now leads Jordan with 18 points which now puts him at a total of 32,310 points overall. He is however still behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar by 6,077 points. With five titles to his name, Bryant will still give all he can to achieve two more titles that will get him to seven, which will be one over Jordan’s six titles.
