Documents recently obtained by the Associated Press (AP) confirmed that Bill Cosby testified in 2005 that he got prescription drugs, Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with and also admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman and “other people. Shortly after the revelation was made, Whoopi Goldberg shared an opinionated view on ABC’s “The view” and continued to rally support for Bill Cosby. (click here to read more). As a result, a number of fans and other celebrities have come after Goldberg for her current stance on this issue.
People Magazine reported a few days ago that Judd Apatow, one of Bill Cosby’s critics acknowledged that Goldberg was trying to be loyal. However, he advised that she should stop defending “a serial rapist.”
Despite the recent admission by Cosby in a 2005 court document that he purchased drugs to use on women, Goldberg stated that she was not going to pass judgment against Cosby until he is proven guilty.
About 40 women have come out to accuse Cosby of assault, rape and drugging.
