Iggy Azalea’s back with a bang and she’s brought a dance crew to along back her up. “TEAM” is the rapper’s first official single from her sophomore album Digital Distortion which she debuted Friday, along with a lyric video which features a squad of dancers moving to the track’s words, which aptly appear morphed above them.
In the song, Azalea raps about self-confidence, declaring, “Baby I got me, and that’s all I need, only friend I need,” she also dropped shoutouts to the Kardashians and composer Hans Zimmer.
Azalea will debut “Team” for television audiences with a performance Tuesday night on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
As a release notes, “Team” is Azalea’s first solo single in three years. The track which she co-wrote was produced by Chordz and Fuego. Co-producers include Omega, with additional production by Ryan and Lou.
