Golden Icons caught up with her at a Nigeria restaurant ‘Flavours Cuisine’ while she was visiting her uncle in Houston.  Below is a clip showing Titilayo and her family eating Nigeria food including pounded yam (Iyan)

A few weeks ago, rumours were swirling that Nigerian actress Mercy Johnson had “gone blind” after her wedding. As we can see from recent red carpet appearances, the rumours were false.

iROKtv caught up with Mercy Johnson on the set of the movie that sparked the rumour – “3 Friends & A Lover“. Mercy’s character loses the use of one of her eyes. The movie’s makeup artiste created the convincing “gauged eye” look.

Thanks to Mrs Adenike Okuneye (Mrs Gele’s Cousin) who deemed it feet to host a befitting welcome party for Mrs Gele supported by close friends who threw a private welcoming party for his heartthrob “Mrs Gele”, who recently joined him in the United States to celebrate. Friends were all pleased to witness this event which created a forum for her to meet with her husbands friends on an up close and relaxed atmosphere and also in attendance were the The Sotunde’s who flew in from Nigeria and North Carolina , Remi Olopade( New Orleans) LA based Celebrity comedians “Seyi Brown” and “Wamilele” who were present to show their love.
We would like to thank every one who took out time to come celebrate with them giving Funmilola the oppurtunity of getting to meet their friends and also to specially thank those that hosted and supported the welcome party. Adenike Okuneye (Chief Hostess /Organizer), Motolani Osanyin “Events by Evie” who took care of Decor, DJ SM95 who played wonderful tunes, Tunde Majek who took care of Photography, Bola Makinde who supplied drinks, Moh’s Place who took care of Food alongside Mama Lyde (wonderful catering) to mention a few people; not forgetting Bode OJo of Golden Icons”the best media outfit in USA”.
