Brad Pitt and the kids, Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, and Shiloh, 8, stepped in for Angelina Jolie at the premiere of the much awaited movie “Unbroken” as she was confined to staying at home to recover from a chickenpox attack. However, Jolie had previously announced through a video released by Universal Studios that she would be unable to attend the upcoming promoting events for the movie due to the rash.
Although Jolie was absent at the premiere of her directorial debut, a movie that means so much to her, the “Brangelina” family was well represented by Brad Pitt, their sons Pax and Maddox and daughter Shiloh, as well as Pitt’s parents. The foursome were spotted on the red carpet alongside Pitt’s parents all looking sharp in perfectly cut suit. The premiere took place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood
The Fury protagonist when asked about the unfortunate absence of his wife and how she was doing. Pitt responded: “A little spotted and a little itchy, but her spirits are high”.
Unbroken tells the story of Louie Zamperini who spent two and a half years of his life at a prisoner of war camp , after surviving a plane crash in World War II. The movie is a war drama, produced and directed by Angelina Jolie and based on the 2010 nonfiction book by Laura Hillenbrand, Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption. The movie also stars Jack O’Connell, Garrett Hedlund, Miyavi and Domhnall Gleeson.
Unbroken premieres in theaters on Christmas Day.
