On the much-publicized Barbara Walter’s television special “The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2014” aired by ABC on Sunday night, Walters declared Amal Alamuddin Clooney the most fascinating person of the year 2014. She based her judgment on how she dresses and the way she carries herself. Of Clooney, she said “Oh, and she dresses well too. “Everything she does, says or wears is officially fascinating,” Walter said of the 36-year-old dark-haired beauty.”
While running the countdown, Walters said before introducing Clooney “What does it take to fascinate one of the most fascinating men in the world?”. Although, Walters recognized Amal’s successful legal career, she gave her more credit for winning over George Clooney’s heart, a man who had previously sworn that he would never marry and had often been regarded as Hollywood’s most ineligible bachelor. “Like climbers attempting Mount Everest, a bevy of beautiful women threw themselves at the unattainable and failed,” Walters said in the weekend special.
But Amal Clooney is different, said Walters, who went further to describe several ways in which Amal and George just appear to be the perfect match including how great they both look in a suit. With the marriage, Walters said, “Amal Clooney was catapulted into the realm of the late Jackie Onassis, Princess Diana and Kate Middleton: “Everything she does, says or wears is officially fascinating.”, according to the ABC report.
Finally, Walters suggested that perhaps the real reason Amal Clooney is so fascinating is that it’s heartening to think that no matter how long it takes, it’s possible to find the perfect match.
