SYNOPSIS: Faithfulness- as inspired by true story

Three months after his failed relationship, delightfully, Joshua met Bisi. In a few months, their relationship blossomed into marriage given that they have so much in common especially – the desire to have babies.

In an effort to bring their desire of having babies to fruition, they found a pastor and a church. Devotedly, they attended church and participated in many church activities and frequently visited their pastor for prayer.

Like an epiphany, Bisi became pregnant just three months into their marriage. Songs of praises touches the skies, dancing shoes clattered the floor of their church in celebration of her pregnancy. However, this was short-lived as Bisi had a miscarriage in the second month of her pregnancy.  The pastor, the church and friends prayed fervently for Bisi and Joshua, and they weathered the loss.

Unfortunately, on two other occasions Bisi got pregnant, but suffered miscarriage. The worst was the last pregnancy for it was ectopic in which she lost her fallopian tube. Trust in God was lost, hope to conceive again gone, thus their marriage heading to hit the rocks.  Family friend rescued the situation as they raised money for the couple to pay for IVF (Invitro- fertilization).

Expectantly, Bisi conceived again for the fourth time and the family was once again happy. Four months later thunder struck again, as she lost the baby. Perhaps this was the last struck for Joshua, as he lost all hope and faith in God. He became a drunk; he strayed openly and separated from his wife for many months. Bisi was angry with God for a long time, but her sister, Mercy, wheeled her way back to God. After a few number of prayer meetings with the pastor and other prayer warriors, she regained her trust and faith in God.

Divinely, Bisi conjugated with her estranged husband and she became pregnant once again, which she hid from Joshua. Four months later, on Joshua’s birthday, Bisi told him she was four months pregnant, which he doubted. However, his doubt faded quickly as her stomach bore witness.  Would this be a full term pregnancy? Would she give birth to a baby or babies? God is faithful and He has the answers in his hands.
