Timaya recently released the video of Plantain Boy, one of the many hits from his third album, ‘The Rebirth‘.  The market concept of the video definitely rhymes with the lyrics.

In summary for those that may not understand what he is saying, As far as the lyrics go, he is basically telling a story about his youth, as he indicated that back in the days, he used to sell plantains (Big Banana) for his Mum, which basically means that he was very poor, and now God has blessed him.
