NFL Star: The Amobi Okoye Foundation Event Highlight Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

Nigerian born NFL Star, Amobi Okoye moved with his family to the United States over a decade ago, and has now become the youngest player to be drafted at the age of 19 into the NFL by the Houston Texans in the first round.

Amobi Okoye turned 23, and he began the birthday celebration with a series of physical activity events which started with the “Kick-Off 4 Kids” Physical activity football camp, and ended on the basketball court, a yearly event titled as “Celebrity Basketball Game” . His team “defensive linesmen” won the celebrity basketball game competition.

The core programs for this organization include:

Kick-off for Kids: series of youth activities that use athletics to motivate and inspire youth.

Tackle Hunger: sustenance and self-improvement for homeless and undernourished kids and families

Amobi’s House: community achievement center where kids can learn and play in a safe nurturing environment.
C.A.T.E. (Changing Africa Through Education): global education initiative that offers academic and athletic scholarships to support achievement and excellence among youth in developing nations.
